KLOW peptide references: copper, cells and repair
The full reading list runs from a copper measurement in prepared skin to animal repair studies and small human safety experiments.
Copper and GHK
For the question that starts this site, the most direct paper is Hostynek and colleagues’ human-skin copper study. The skin was studied outside the body. The human fibroblast collagen experiment gives a cellular outcome, while the skin-regeneration review and review of topical GHK formulation put those findings into broader context.
The human hair-count trial tested GHK with another active ingredient and without the copper in GHK-Cu. That preparation deserves its full name whenever its results are discussed.
Repair experiments and safety
The BPC-157 study of completely cut rat Achilles tendons, rat wound study of full thymosin beta-4 and KPV study in human cell cultures and mice measured different aspects of repair. The two-adult intravenous BPC-157 pilot and Phase 1 study of full thymosin beta-4 concern safety under their particular study conditions.
